Using Condor Purge Vents
On a summer’s evening upstairs is hot!
The air conditioner isn’t coping …… and no one is getting any sleep.

and this is how you do it!
Cool air enters via the window, the heat in the room rises and pushed through the ceiling purge vent and out through the roof ventilator.
You keep the purge vent closed during cooler winter months.
Purge vents are manufactured by Condor to ventilate heat, odour and dust, out of rooms.
This allows for a healthier environment.
Can be used with other types of roof ventilators
They are a positive and cost efficient way of improving natural comfort levels with no operational cost.
The Condor Purge Vent has the ability to remove unpleasant odours, toxic fumes irrespective of weather conditions.
It can be left open during inclement weather without water ingress or security concerns.
The purge vent is used as one would use a window, it can be opened either fully or incrementally.
Available in various sizes, in both manual (push /pull) or 12 vdc linear actuator operation.
Can be hard wired or remote control operation.
PP manual is a simple push / pull operation using an extended rod and claw, to max ceiling height of 3.0 metres.
Tension is adjustable.
The LA12vdc linear actuated purge vent is recommended for higher ceilings.
Both PP and LA Purge vents can also be used in conjunction both refrigerated and evaporative air conditioning systems.
Standard opening stroke length 100mm standard. Optional 150mm Both PP and LA12vdc.
12vdc units are available either hard wired or with remote control option.

Installation is simple and straight forward.
The hot air in the room is allowed to escape
through the purge vent on the ceiling allowing
cool air to enter.
