The warmest air is already against the ceiling waiting to exit and as the heat in the room rises cool air enters via the window
The hot air is escapes through the ceiling vent and out through the Windtower roof ventilator.
The purge vent is also suitable for raked & cathedral ceilings.
Purge vents are manufactured in Australia by Condor to ventilate heat, odour and dust, out of rooms.
This allows for a healthier environment.
Can be used with other types of roof ventilators

The Condor Purge Vent has the ability to remove unpleasant odours, toxic fumes irrespective of weather conditions.
The Purge vent can be left open during inclement weather without water ingress or security concerns.
The purge vent is used as one would use a window, it can be opened and closed fully or incrementally.
Available in various sizes, in both manual (push /pull) or 12 vdc linear actuator operation.
Can be hard wired or remote control operation.
PP manual is a simple push / pull operation using an extended rod and claw, to max ceiling height of 3.0 metres.
Tension is adjustable.
The LA12vdc linear actuated purge vent is recommended for higher ceilings.
Both PP and LA 12vdc vents can also be used in conjunction both refrigerated and evaporative air conditioning systems.
12vdc units can be hard wired or with remote control option.
Sizes from 250 – 450 diameter
Installation is simple.
The hot air in the house rises and escapes through the ceiling purge vent thereby allowing cool air from outside to enter via door and windows cooling the house down.
